Richard Parker is a Chartered Engineer.
He has an Honours Degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Wales and a postgraduate diploma in
Traffic Engineering from Portsmouth Polytechnic (now Portsmouth University). He is a Corporate Member
of the Institution of Civil Engineers and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Transport and Logistics.
Between 1997 and 1999 he was Chairman of the Transport Group of the Institution of Civil Engineers Southern Association.
